Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a practical approach to treating many conditions. It has been practiced for thousands of years and is scientifically backed to successfully treat general physical and emotional well-being.

Acupuncture is used to treat conditions including but not limited to headaches, migraines, infertility / fertility, pregnancy support, morning sickness, menstrual problems, endometriosis, pcos, chronic pain (back pain, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, etc), fibromyalgia, allergies, asthma, digestive problems, carpal tunnel, tendonitis (tennis/golfers elbow), inflammation, postoperative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting, addiction, weight loss, smoking cessation, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, stress and mood disorders.

For those who might be hesitant, rest assured that acupuncture needles are nothing to be afraid of. They are very small and virtually painless, and most clients find the treatment so relaxing that they fall asleep during sessions. Acupuncture can effectively treat many various health conditions.

Meet our acupuncturists

Molly Sweet, L.Ac.

Molly is the founder of Solara Wellness and a licensed acupuncturist and holistic health practitioner.  Her goal is to help you achieve a successful balance within your body, mind and soul through alternative medicine and holistic modalities such as acupuncture, light therapy, relaxation, meditation, diet and exercise.

Molly began her career as an acupuncturist after passing the national board exam in 2013. She immediatlely started working with Dr. April Gago of Gago Center For Fertility in her Lansing office location. This led Molly to her passion of helping women in their journey to live healthier lives and grow their families.

In addition to creating her long time dream of offering a multi-faceted, integrative healing space (Solara Wellness), she continues to specialize in acupuncture for women’s health, infertility, IVF, IUI, prenatal / pregnancy support, migraines, headaches, PTSD, stress and anxiety. Her approach is an integrative blend of medical and traditional acupuncture in which needles are used to engage the parasymathetic nervous system, allowing your body’s natural intelligence to induce regeneration and healing.
